Amare PC or Not?
Hi all,
I was thinking about starting a mini-pc of Amare Stoudemire. Im really thinking he'll follow D'Antoni and join the Knicks in 2010. And while I love collecting Chris Paul and will never stop, my team passion in the NBA lies with the Knicks..
So my questions is 2 fold:
1. Do you think there is a good chance Amare winds up with the Knicks?
2. Are there any SUPER Amare collectors?Last edited by montej1695; 08-22-2009 at 08:29 PM. Reason: typo

1. Dunno but If I'm not sure he will be crazy.
Because His offense is one of the craziest but deffense is horrible at least all star level. ( I don't compare Amare with David West.)
If there is less deffense, it is really hard to get any kinds of champ.
If you like Amare, it doesn't matter.
But if you also consider his ability and talent, I would recommend to collect another player like Melo, Durant etc.(I don't like Durant though.)
2. I have never seen any Crazy Amare Collector yet.
Of course, I have seen a few nice collectors but I mean from Base to Crazy 1/1 Logo kinds entire collection.
I have seen Amare Tag 1/1 auto, Logomans sold at bay.
But I'm not sure winners are a crazy amare collectors or not.

I think if it is for your PC it would just be based only on if you want to spend your money on him and spend the time doing it.
As for an investment or ROI, it's not that bad of a choice. Who knows where he will end up, it would be better for his card prices if he was on a winning team again. Phoenix could get back there and he will probably shine more without Shaq.
If it's only based on him going to NY, you could wait until mid-season and see what the rumors are then. Right now NY is going to be going after a ton of guys once the books get freed up, we'll see who they start to target later on.
Good luck!

If your decision is solely based on whether he becomes a Knick or not, then I would suggest waiting - but, I think the idea of having multiple PC players is good, too, as sometimes it's hard to pick up cards of one guy, but you find alot of another guy...so, you can still trade at a good pace.
Good luck on your decision!

Id say go for it! Not sure if he will end up in NY or not, but if you like his game enough to collect him then why not? thanx :)
