Theme Week #10- Strangest Name

Looks like this week has been complicated.. These are the entries I will allow:
champ1985, JKC, mikecancelliere, johnson7878j, Stl_Cardinals_Fan and BBonds25.

I am not allowing the other two because those names are too varied from the original. Rusty and Russell are basically the same but Richard and Goose and Dennis and Oil Can are not. If you have a major issue send me a PM.

I don't see how this is fair to decide who has a right or wrong entry after the fact. I don't see how Rusty Kuntz is any different from the other names because obviously he was nicknamed this because of his last name. If his last name was Jones, I highly doubt he would have gone by the name "Rusty". (Sorry to single out whoever had this entry!!)

Also as for the comment about entering Sultan of Swat and so on........
I think that all entries should be counted as the name listed on the front of the card. For example if your Sultan of Swat card is listed as "Sultan of Swat Ruth" then it should be counted, if it's just "sultan of swat" then I don't think it should be counted. If it uses the nickname as a first name and then lists the last name I think the entry should be counted.

Does anyone agree?

well, on the back of my goose goosage's card says goose goosage, but didnt even mention his real name, Rich , or richard at all...hmm........

Nothing against you or the other user, just trying to keep it real...there is a bunch of good name players out there to enter..I thought about Oddibe Mcdowel+ ODD-I-BE kinda cool.... or Urban Shocker just kinda settled on this one...hope you find another to enter and maybe I won't feel bad about saying anything. I really didn't intend to start a discussion thread or any ill will...If I have I apologize.

Yes it is. His middle name is Terrific. I was going to post his 95 ud minor league (which includes his middle name), but justin beat me to it.
