Some 06-07 and 07-08 Topps Chrome Packs
The wife and I went to Beaumont for a bridal shower but i was left to go to the mall there. The mall had some small sports cards dealers selling there stuff. I knew this ahead of time with beckett.com so i brought a few of my unwanted autos and tried to see if i could trade them.
I traded a couple of autos for 16 packs of cards, mostly 06-07 Topps Chrome Hobby. The guy was selling them for 50cents each. Here are the hits from them:
RCs:
Hilton Armstrong
PJ Tucker
Ryan Hollins
LaMarcus Aldridge 96-97 Variation
Ronnie Brewer
Paul Davis
Refractors:
Nazr Mohammed
Al Harrington
Cuttino Mobley
The rest were from Fleer 94-95 Series II or 92-93 Fleer Ultra Series II. Nothing exciting from there.
Then i went to a Suncoast Entertainment store that sells DVDs and whatnot (a smaller version of FYI). Then i saw they sold some sports cards and there were two boxes of 07-08 Topps Chrome for $9.99. They rang up for 6.99 so i was more thrilled!
Hits were as follows:
Base: Kobe
RCs: George Hill, Sessions, Almond, McGuire, Wright, Brandon Wallace, Thornton, Wright, Tucker, S. Williams, Haluska, Afflalo, Davis
Refractor: Shawn Marion, Adam Haluska RC
Orange Refractor: Fesenko, Drexler(PC!)
My wife actually pulled at auto and it was a redemption for Gabe Pruitt RC Auto /999.
She actually pulled the Drexler and the Auto and i was left with the Haluska RC Refractor (I pulled a gold refractor /99 from a discounted Bowman DPS retail box from wal-mart...why him!?) and the Fesenko RC Orange Refractor.
It could have been worse but it was fun. All is for trade. I wonder what i'll get for the Pruitt auto?Last edited by rocketfan86; 08-24-2009 at 12:52 AM.

Wow! You got two Orange refractors in 2 blasters!?! That's Amazing! Those fall like 1 per hobby box!
As far as the Pruitt, you probably won't get much for it because Topps isn't filling any more redemptions, and even if you get the Pruitt he is no longer on the Celtics so it won't be super sought after.

The Chrome Blasters? Maybe to get rid off last year's inventory. The 06-07 Topps chrome Hobby packs were being sold at 50cents each but after the trade, i was allowed to get 16 packs for $5
