Just wanted to say Hello and Break the Ice. Figured I'd share a little background and Interests. My name is Tim, but I go by MrDaytona when posting.
Grew up in Central Florida, New Smyrna Bch, Daytona and been in Orlando since 1980. Daytona Iternational Speedway is my backyard. Dad took me to my 1st race there to see Motorcycles back in the late 70's, been Hooked ever since. You can find me there for Any and All Events. If it goes fast and Races at Daytona I'm usually there. Of course I am a Nascar fan, but the 24 Hours is my Fav race.
Have been collecting Nascar Ephemra, Memorabilia and Cards since the Early 80's. Consider myself a Nascar memorabilia expert, especially cards from 88-93. Have Dealt, Traded and seen most Items produced over the past 25 years. Owned my own Nascar coll store for about 5 years 93-98, "Strictly Racing", Casselberry Fla. Was a Factory Distributer for Maxx, Traks, Pro-Set, Press Pass and more. I was an Autograph hound, got All my Auto's myself at Daytona. Collect mostly Paper stuff ( Cards, Programs, Posters, and Post cards) Cards are my specialty, I collected All makes of cards from 1988 thru about 1996. Targeted Rare singles, Sets, Promo items.
Havent collected in years but still enjoy checking out All the new products and Releases. If you have any questions or need info on Any Early Nascar cards I am your man.
