Most Memorable NBA Game Good or Bad

What is the game you remember the most and why ??

Mine is game 6 of the 1993 NBA Finals. I was only 7 but remember everything about that game. That was the first year I became a suns fan and was devastated after they lost. I sat and cried the entire night lol. Still HATE John Paxson and Horace Grant to this day. Been a Suns and Charles Barkley fan ever since even tho living in Lexington, KY. Basically after that game I hated Michael Jordan and the Bulls until I got old enough to realize how GREAT he was. Still HATE Paxson and Grant tho lol

Ooo, nice topic! I'd have to say game 6 of the 2008 NBA finals - KGs first championship! I'm sure there are other games that are memorable to me, but that one will always stick in my mind. I just wish I had recorded it...

you have espn classic?? Eventually they will probably show that game...every year right before the playoffs espn classic shows many of the series clinching games of the finals. Only show 2 hours so i think they cut out part of the second quarter but show all the second half

Mine would have to be Jordan's shot in Game 6 of the 98 Finals. I remember I had just finished school a few days before and I wasn't allowed to stay up and watch full nba games because my parents said I was too little. My dad let me stay up and watch the whole game, and I'm glad that he did. I spent the whole day after that playing basketball outside with the neighborhood kids.

I think you have already known this, Matt. =)

The reason why Knicks lost that game, Starks did funny thing.

He missed over 10 3PT(If I were not wrong).

Funnily, Pat Riley used and used Starks even he was really really bad.

If I were Pat Riley, I would use Derek Harper at Game # 7.
(Of course, Rockets was Great at that game. But Starks helped more lol)

('') Finally he decided to be a Rockets Player. lol

I really never started watching basketball until 2-3 years ago so basically mine would have to be the Lakers vs. Celtics series. That Celtic team was just so good together, and a team beating Kobe in the finals doesnt happen very often. I do watch some ESPN classic and the two finals that J-Kidd were in are just heartbreaking to watch. I really hope he wins a title, he deserves it.

Most of mine are all MJ memories. I mixed in a couple others.

Shaq's first backboard-breaking dunk. Remember when he dunked the ball and the goal just sort of laid down and died?

    Jordan's 63 at the Garden.
Jordan's final game in his first championship.
Jordan's 3-point barrage against the Blazers in the 92 Finals.
Jordan getting ejected against Utah in 92.
Jordan's first game out of retirement against the Pacers.
Jordan's final shot against Utah in '98.
    Kobe's 81.

LOL, thats my most memorable too! I was 11 and we were spending a long weekend at my grandparents house in Michigan. My mom stayed up to watch it with me. I dont remember much about the game, but I can see vividly what the living room looked like then, where we sat, everything. Paxson hit that shot and my mom and I went nuts, which was especially memorable because my mom wasnt a basketball fan. Then Grant blocked Kevin Johnson (I believe) and we celebrated again.

Mine was november 19th, 2005. The infamous pistons/pacers game where ron artest, steven jackson, jermaine oneal, and company went ballistic on the fans in detroit. It's memorable cause my son was just born and i was sitting in the hospital room watching the game when it happened. I bought my first artest jersey shortly after! Lol

the other one was april 29th, 1993. It was the celtics and hornets and the game in which reggie lewis collapsed in where he later died. It was a sad time to say the least
