Olympic price bump?
The last time I was active in the hobby during an olympic hockey tournament was 1988. I'm wondering if players in the Olympics traditionally get much of a price bump before, and during the games?

Some of the big name players probably, I'm sure Crosby sellers will use whatever they can to maximize their profits. Winning the Cup was bad enough, can't imagine what will happen if he helps Canada win gold!

I think that it'll cause an increase in interest but I doubt it'll have a significant effect on prices. Say somebody wanted to put together an autograph set with every player representing Team Canada - most of these guys have oodles of autographs out on the market already. Barring a massive, massive frenzy there's sufficient supply to meet any increase in demand. If anything, it'll help people out that want to get some long-held autos out of their buckets, but I don't foresee a major increase.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
