    Need some advice

Well I'm thinking of getting into racing cards. Problem is don't really know any drivers except for the real popular ones. Can anyone recommend me what player or product to get into?

Also wanted to know if Danica Patrick is a good buy. Bought an auto a little while ago for about $180 think I overpaid.

First off-congrats on making a great choice to come over to the best sport to collect :). Danica Patrick-is very expensive to collect-for a few reasons-shes Danica Patrick for one, and there arent a lot of cards for her really.

Any Press Pass Racing Release this year has been great-id recommend to start with something like Press Pass Series 2 which came out abotu 2 months ago and is fairly cheap-if you are going for expensive stuff go with showcase or legends-but just starting out-id recommend Series 2 or VIP which just came out-both fairly cheap.

As far as drivers-its all up to you-sure the well known guys are gonna be more expensive-and itll be easier if you choose a lesser known driver with less popularlity and less cards-its all up to you-id suggest maybe watch a race or some interviews and see which drivers style you like.

If you like cocky and brash and they can back it up-Kyle Busch or Tony Stewart are your guys.

If you like very polished and talented guys maybe Jimmie Johnson or Carl Edwards are your guys.

Or you can pick an underdog ha.

Either way-many members on the racing boards (me included) will gladly help you by sending you a bunch of commons and easy inserts of whatever driver you pick to get started-good luck in making a choice and welcome to the best sport to collect!!! :)

Not sure, but whoever u choose take a look at my bucket, I might have some of the guys you're looking to collect. Just looked at your bucket, felt kinda good to see a couple of my former cards in your PC, and Becky Hammon...wow!

Don't rush your choice of driver. Like race crazy says, check out the drivers personalities first. I found I liked the confidence and the "say it like it is" approach to racing Tony Stewart brought to the table. Watch interviews, documentaries, and races to help in your decision.

Thanks for all the info. I will definitely check out some drivers before I buy anything.

Lol, gotta agree here. That's why John Andretti is my favorite. Sure he parades around now somehow in the top 35 in points, but I've met him and he seems like a cool, down to earth guy and had some success early on in his career. Plus, the fact that he's driven and had success in stock cars, indy, and drag racing means the guy can drive.(or could, haha)
