    Scatchard Back in NHL Action?

    The Canucks have invited Dave Scatchard, a UFA since 2007, to the Canucks training camp.

    A few rumors are a couple of veterns have also been invited, with names such as Schneider and Malhotra being thrown around/rumored.

    I'm surprised Malhotra hasn't got a contract somewhere yet. Good Face Off guy..... would make a decent 3rd or 4th line centre for most teams (I'd take him on Edmonton in a heart beat).

    I agree as well, I'm very surprised (and not just for the FA Pool either!!!!). Decent pick up if they sign him, although they do have Ryan Johnson in that same role....
