    Shipping question on ebay

I just won a really nice card while I was out of town the last couple days. I went to pay for it today and the total 320 with 3.50 shipping. I looked at the invoice and hes required shipping insurance but wants 50 bucks for it If I pay this will I be able to fight for overcharging and get that money back?

Just ask him to send an invoice w/o insurance nicely. Say it is not listed in the auction anywhere whihc it isn;t. Just another way for him to get more cash. I would never pay 50 insurance lol
When you click on shipping details it says insurance None

ebay won't let you do that. I have tried. You would have to go through paytpal at which time he can offer full refund for returned card if he wanted to, It is his option

point him to the ebay rules that he is only allowed to charge exact amount for insurance. Stated right in ebay rules that he cant overcharge for it.

    Here it is
Insurance: Sellers may offer buyers insurance and extra services provided through the carrier at actual cost. These services include, but are not limited to: Certificate of Mailing, Certified Mail, Collect on Delivery, Delivery Confirmation, Insured Mail, Registered Mail, Restricted Delivery, Return Receipt, Signature Confirmation and Special Handling.

    Screw him
