Tripped the IP address detector and can't respond to pm...HELP
I am having problems replying to PM's. I am having trouble with this website. My wife recently registered on the site and we just got a pm from a member stating that we tripped the IP address detector and that we're not allowed to use the same computer without providing some sort of identification to verify that we are in fact 2 different people. My wife and I both tried to respond to this person, but have been unsuccesful in sending pm's. We use separate laptops that use the same wireless router which is the only thing I can think of as to why it would say we have the same IP address. Even if I were able to contact this person by replying to the message (which it is not allowing me to do), I'm not comfortable sending copies of our ID's with our names and addresses to someone we don't know. How do I resolve this problem?

Down at the bottom of any page is a Contact Us link...fill out the form and it sends an email to the admins. And I'm not sure why you would be worried about giving your name and address...if you're profile is filled out correctly, that information is already available to the staff.

Me and my brother did this, just blank out what you don't feel comfortable showing..but you have to show name at least..also why are you not wanting to share address..you have to have it to trade.

I have no problem giving my address for trades. The wifey is just nervous because she thinks it's weird that she can't reply to the member who contacted us and was concerned with who she was actually sending the information to. We don't understand why we aren't able to reply to the pm to resolve the problem. We can't even send a copy of an id at this point.

You have to prove your 2 different people or you will be banned :(. Take a picture and send it to an admin you trust and they can forward it..does she not already know people know your address cause you trade...?

Yes...everyone that u traded with knows your address. The member that told u about the IP address conflict has to be a staff memebr to get that info so u have nothing to worry about.
