    Stan Musial Rookie

Well, this one has a story.
A customer of mine, years back, had inherited his grandfathers possessions. In it was an album with baseball cards glued into it. He offerd me pick if I could remove them with limited damage to the card. Since he already said No mantel, mays, etc, I opted for the Musial. Ended up giving it to my Father as a Christmas gift one year and now we have gone full circle it seems

    And 17 years later,here it is :)

Musial is missing on the back.the last name. You can see how it was held in place, with glue, by the discoloration around the back of the cards border. Sadly the glue had saturated where Stans last name was,so it did not survive extraction .

That's a nice card. However, just to let you know, it's not his rookie. Its a 1952 Bowman. His rookie is a 1948 Bowman. A nice card nonetheless! I'd go for it if I didn't already have one.

I am interested in trading for items in my sig
I would rather trade than sell
Granted if there is bait offered that is moving, and I can trade it for what I need, works as well
    I am easy :)

    Oh
Thank you Rchurch. I was unaware it was not his rookie. My father ,after gifting it too him, had listed it as his rookie(He was obsessed with opening packs and doing B-Card shows), I had never looked it up and I supposed I should have googled it 1st.

    Hey otter
    Ty
I don't do racing, sorry. Actually I have a 800 long of 1993 Max cards somewhere around here I am going to throw up and hope like the devil there is some interest :)

Seems the musial is the only card to get a decent hit. If I could find the early 60's Mantels and spahn's I know are here somewhere, I may get some action !!:P
