12 years and 50 pounds ago I could throw it down. Age is cruel.

Not yet. Im one inch away from grabbing the rim and I'm fourteen, so I think I will be able to in a year or two. I can dunk on 9.5 feet though. With shoes, I think I'm 5'10"

Heck no. Not sure about 9 feet but I can at 8 feet.

Not sure I should've really said that I can "throw it down" at 9'...I can dunk it, but nothing flashy...just a simple two-handed dunk...I can "throw it down" at 8-8.5' though.

Strength shoes and squats helped out my vertical a LOT in high school. Not sure what programs you guys have tried. I was on a routine plyometrics program. A lot of guys only did it during the season. I stayed with it for 2 years, and by the time I was 18 I could get up pretty easily. College happened and I lost a lot of my explosive muscle. Somewhere around 21-22 years old was the last time I dunked. I have too many chronic injuries with my knees, feet and groin pulls to try it again.

I've been dunking all the time lately. . . .and then I wake up. I have never been able to dunk on a 10' hoop. I think I was able to dunk on a 9' hoop once or twice back in the day, but nothing fancy. Put the hoop on 8' and I used to be a king in my neighborhood. . . . . till they all grew taller than me. Oh well. haha!

So, in other words, you are hard pressed to dunk on a Little Tikes hoop at it's highest height?
