FS/FT 1946 Boston Red Sox Publication
http://s748.photobucket.com/albums/x...ox%20Magazine/
This is a must have for Red Sox Fans
and for MLB fans or historians.
This a 1946 Boston Red Sox Magazine/Book. Its in GREAT condition and summarizes the whole 1946 season and has 1946 copywright. It was published by the Boston Globe and most of the stories are by the wrighters that followed the team that year. It has a poster pullout still attached to the back page. This poster is fully in tact and still attached to the publication. The poster shows everyone one on the team. The magazine also has a brief bio of all players and coaches. It has a history of Fenway Park as told in 1946(tells why the wall was built and other cool facts). There are some very nice action photos. Also an article written by Ted Williams. Also in the publication is a season summary with all important dates during the '46 season. The summary is written by the Boston Globe's Sports Editor Jerry Nason. I have scanned the whole thing into photobucket. Even if you don't buy it or trade for it, it's worth just taking a look. Its a great part of Red Sox and MLB history. I did scan well enough that you can read the pages. One story in particular tells about a Mexican Pro League Team owner that tried to buy Ted Williams. I encourage any potential buyers to check out each and every page(32 Pages and poster). All scans are close up and readable. Just look at the remarkable condition of this 63 year old souvenir book.
