Personally I'd order online,in most cases you can get close to 2 boxes for the price of what most hobby shops charge for one.You might want to wait till friday as blowoutcards.com has their weekend specials with some great prices.Take care Steve

because blowout doesn't have all of the additional expenses required to own and operate a card store.

Tolrobb I agree to a certain extent,I used to try and support my local dealer but there comes a time when you can't pay for their shop anymore.I work hard for my money and if I can get something a heckuva lot cheaper online that's what I have to do.Take care Steve

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I would suggest getting a Topps Football set from the 1970's. Can't go wrong with one of those.

If not a Topps Football set from the 1970's, you can get a box cheaper online if you want to do that, going to your local card shop you can get the box right away. Depends if you wanna bust open a box for your birthday.

Id order online and just and wait, because you will definitly get more.

Im not sure if I agree with that. They have storefront just like the card shop.I would also be willing to be they have more employees and overhead then a card store. I just believe they have more business and sell enough product where they dont have to jack all their prices up. Card shops that jack their prices up are just trying to get paid with out doing the work. You don't have to do what most shops do in order to make a profit. Just for example look at Chris from Infinity Sports cards on youtube. His prices are very comparable to the big online dealers and he just has a card shop, but he is smart and realizes you don't have to rip off people to make money.

I know, that's why I buy packs/supplies from the shop, and boxes from blowout.

well, Chris sells a lot of his stuff over the net as well, nowhere near the levels of blowout, DA, ASC, but a lot. I would guess a relatively small percentage of folks opt to have their boxes broke for youtube.

But you're definitely right about the amount of traffic (either to a site or to a store) has to do with the prices, kind of like how McDonalds can sell their hamburgers for 79 cents, but at "Bob and Sue's Hometown Restaurant" they are $3.99. Kind of like, I know Bob and Sue's burgers are better. lol
