i think blowout sells those tins at 500+. there are still chances to pull crosby and ovechkin but #/99 is still tough. but there are ton of other star rookies to pull from that year like getzlaf, lundqvist, phaneuf, jeff carter. richards etc.. not to mention the auto patches like limited logos or honorable #s etc.. for sure a great product to break if you can get a tin jump on it.

I'd actually go with 2 from this year for basically the same price (well, a little more). I have not seen a bad tin yet and have seen at least 100 breaks.

Yeah I risked it a couple months ago and bought a tin from 05-06. It was the an awful box, it was fun still, but I don't know if it was worth it.

Crosby and Ovechkin were needles in a haystack when the product was live. Now, with the risk of tampered and searched cases, I would say you might as well buy a lottery ticket.

Whatever you do, make sure you buy from an extremely reputable dealer. Personally, I wouldn't go near any 05-06 Cup that didn't come straight from DA Cardworld, and even then, I'd have to wonder about who they got it from.

That said, there are several quality rookies in that set, so it's not like Sid and Ovy are the only cards that can save a tin.

I'd expect to pay $550-$600 for a legit tin from a sealed case.
