Finally bought a subscription to Beckett's OPG

I finally broke down and bought a 1-year subscription to Beckett's OPG. I haven't owned a Beckett in years. It's been fun to look up old cards. Of course some of the prices seem to be way off, but like I've said in other posts, Ebay is only part of the market.

Still trying to figure out how to set up my collection. I like how the database and price guide interface in the Organize section.

I don't know when they stop to use term "beta" at URL.
    (Permanently ?)

BTW, it might be nice OPG. Especially for old cards.

    I didn't subscribe because I don't find much BV.

But someday, I will use that.

P.S. : I heard sometimes website has had problem. Like deleting all.

Someone organized all of his collection but all disappeared !
(That person wrote about that at new (poor) BMB).

    that would suck!

I just added most of my collection. I hope it doesn't get deleted, but if it does it would not be that big of a deal to me. All of my favorite cards are scanned into photobucket. Their "trade" link doesn't work either. It doesn't search the Beckett Marketplace, which I think would be a valuable tool. There is also no search button for their discussion threads. Very frustrating.

the items you put up for sale or trade, do not show up in the market place... the organize part of the deal is a totally different deal, and you only see other people collections

Yah another bad thing is Beckett didn't fully renew their website.

In other words, Grading and Marketplace part is old beckett website version.

But OPG and new (and poor) BMB kinds are new "BETA" website version.

Problem is like your case - can't find something to enter to certain link or menu, or "Page not found" kinds.

But I don't think Beckett company will fix those critical problems.

Hope to not delete or disappear your organized stuff.
Of course, that is not big deal but at least it takes not less time.

(After renewal, I hasn't used Beckett Organizer. Before that, I used that though.)

I guess I expected more from the machine that is "Beckett".

If I add a card to my "want" list, it should be displayed in the organize window. It should also give me the option to receive instant email notification if a card in my want list is added.

I thought so. Thanks for confirming it. It has its flaws like any website. I won't bash them too badly. I actually like some of the features. I just wish more dealers listed through them.

Yah..Problem is their idea was great(If they completed renewal, that might be really perfect website for collectors but they couldn't) but they just couldn't reach that idea.
    (Actually technical problem)

Like your comment, some of the features are nice. =)
