First Auto- Kevin Millwood, but I don't remember the year or the set.

My first GU pull was a 2001 Rod Gardner and my first AU pull was a 2002 Jabar Gaffney.

There's a funny/tragic story about the Gardner GU.

I got a box of 2001 football for Christmas in 2001, I forgot what brand it was, but here's the story.

I was ten and I set my first ever GU (Gardner) on the couch on Christmas day while I was looking though the other cards, I got up to set the stack of cards on the desk, and I came back and my Mom was sitting in the spot where my first GU card was.

I asked her if she set it somewhere and she said no...

I asked here to get up because I thought she was sitting on it, and to my horror, she was.

It slid in between the cushions when she sat down, and it had a terrible crease right down the center.

It was garbage.

I was very upset because I didn't even know there was such things as GU until I pulled it and I thought it was very valuable.

Luckilyit was of a trash player and i can look back on it now and laugh.

Pulled a Paul Lo Duca auto out of an 04 Topps Blaster I believe. I ended up selling it (sorta wish I hadn't...I remember when I pulled it too).

Yeah, the first jersey card I pulled was a Shaq, from a Skybox. It sold on Ebay for $24 way back in the day. I'm like you, I wish I would have kept it

what year did they start putting game used in packs? Mine was a Jorge Posada base card I think from Upperdeck 2001 or something like that i mean a real piece of first base

1997 Upper Deck. It was a three-card GU set. Ken Griffey Jr, Rey Ordonez, and Tony Gwynn. They were inserted 1:800 packs. I own the latter two , but cause the Griffey books so much and is so hard to find I have yet to get one of those

Had an old Walmart gift card sitting around so used it to pick up some packs last night. First time I've bought cards in over 13 years. So I pulled my first GU last night and it's a 2008 UDX Aramis Ramirez.
