WARNING: Rant
Already sorry but it's time to rant...
As some football collectors may know, I collect one and only player. Leodis McKelvin. Now because he's a no name CB for the Buffalo Bills his cards are understandably. But when someone does PM me or post in my thread that they have some McKelvin base and #'d I don't have so I'm thinking, sweet some new cards to my collection. So I reply asking what players they're looking for. 30 minutes later I get a PM saying that they'll trade a couple of base for my Reed 4-color patch for instance. I get that I only collect McKelvin, but that doesn't mean I'm going to trade 2 base for a 4-color patch, I mean seriously. And it happens soooo much and it's just getting annoying so I felt like ranting, so sorry for the rant.

Oh how I know what you mean. People do that because they think the cards are worth more because you only collect that player. Don't know if this has happened to you but I tried to trade for a card of my favorite player and the person wanted a 3 color patch of my favorite player as trade.......um, no.
It's stupid how people think that cards are just magically worth anything because that happens to be the player you solely collect.

Someone wanted me to trade my 6-relic for a Housh /450 and some base. I love Housh but I love not getting raked over the coals even more...

I'll do ya one better, i'd get you 5 base :)
Kidding aside it does stink, and is a reason i don't like trading some of my better cards, i perfer to sell and buy PC wants, because it avoids ridiculous offers..Hidden Content

I hear you...I have some ridiculous offers of my own, and while I won't go into too much detail, I do have one pretty nice card that everyone seems to want, and because I put that it's only for trade for Garnett's, I received a pretty silly offer, at least from my perspective...I'm now debating removing it from my list and only offering it when there is something that I want to trade it for...may end up being easier in the long run ;-)

its almost getting to the point where its not a good idea to put in your signature who you collect because when people see it, they think "bingo! this person will trade the world for his/her "favorite player or team" its very sad that people out there take advantage of other people like that.
