My goal in the draft was to go rb wr wr and then fill in the team due to this years deep rb class....but by the time it was my 2nd pick 11 wrs and 4 qbs were taken kind of killing that idea. Slaton dropped and i didnt like any one of the wrs left so i figured go with the big gun Rodgers.....After i got 2rbs and qb for first three picks my goal was to get top tier players at other positions in hopes of making up for the lack of talent at wr. From there i took as many wrs as possible that had upside and hope to hit on 1 or 2

I like the QBs, although 3rd is a little high for Rodgers. I like Flacco this year.
I like the RBs, not love, but like. I would drop one of your D/STs for another back though.
Waiting until the 5th round to take your first WR killed them. Royal should be good, but I don't like Hester as a #2. Driver might work out ok, but overall, not a quality WR corp.
Clark is money at TE, but TE is a deep position this year and I would have rather used that pick for a WR and picked up a 2nd/3rd tier TE later.
Picked 1st D/ST and the K way too high and there's no need for a 2nd D/ST. Like I said above, drop one of the D/STs and pick up another RB.
Overall a decent team, but you made other positions really good at the expense of WRs..could work out, could bite you in the butt.

Your RB tandem is top notch but your WR's will kill you. Like One Pimp said Rodgers in the 3rd was too high considering you had no WR's. You could of also landed a decent TE much later in the draft(Carlson, Daniels, etc) and taken a WR there too.
In all my drafts this year(along with past years as well) I will take a top WR before my RB's as the talent pool is so much deeper. In your case you must have had a top 5 pick in the draft so taking a RB in that spot is ok but with the 2nd pick you probably could have landed a top 5 WR. Then go from there.
Overall, a nice squad but your lack of WR depth will hurt you. Like you said, LJ could be used from trade bait if he starts off well. Also, you could trade Slaton for a top WR if you are confident in LJ. You would probably get more for Slaton in a trade.
Good Luck!

i was 2nd overall so by the time the serpentine came around there was no chance in me getting a top 5 wr, in fact 7 wrs were taken b4 my 2nd pick (and an 8th by franchise 1) making it a little difficult to draft one...add to that that 4 qbs were taken (big 3 and rivers) so i decided to grab rodgers there by the time i would have picked in the 4th romo shaub and mcnabb all went so id consider draft the qb in the 3rd a good pick. as for going te in the 4th i was considering going wr wr for 4th and 5th but the people out there just didnt grab me. I could have flopped and gone wr 4th and te 5th but i figured rather take the top te then go wr especially because franchise 1 already had 2.
