Which Would you Take? Stamkos or Gretzky/Messier

    Guys...need some expert opinions.

Which card would you take? I have an opportunity to take 1 out of these 2 cards.

    1) Steven Stamkos - 08-09 The Cup Quad Patch /10 (decent 3 color patches)

    or

    2) 08-09 OPC Gretzky/Messier Dual Auto /75

I'm kinda split.....value wise or even star power wise.. LOL...any inputs?

    TIA!!

I'm sure most people will say grab the Gretky , as he's one if not the best player in NHL History. That's what i would do though, even if i like Stamkos a lot !

No contest! Gretzky/Messier! Two proven players. Both Hall-of-Fame quality. Linked by powerhouse Oiler's team in 80's. No contest.

Not sure. Maybe Stamkos will do good and his cards will skyrocket. And usually Cup cards sell high, because the beckett isnt out yet. But cant go wrong with a dual auto of The Great One and Messier.

    Tough choice in my opinon.

Good luck! Let us know which one you go with!

Gretzky/Messier without a doubt, two legendary players that no longer need to prove themselves ;)

You can find another #/75 card pretty easily... if you think Stamkos is a very good young player, you should take this card. If you think Stamkos is a possible flop, don't take this card! If rarity isn't there, the card won't hold value anyway, even with Gretzky on the card. Is a card #/75 a rare card in 2009?

Stamkos for the same reason roy.the.greatest said, a card /75 isn't rare. A card /10 is. Both could probbaly fetch the same amount on ebay. Slight edge on the autos, but if Stamkos becomes what he can be, then the /10 is a good deal

I say Gretzky/Messier without a doubt as I don't understand all the hype around Stemkos.
Maybe he'll prouve me wrong this year...
