Talking A bit of a Racing Update from me.. The Racer.

For anyone who was been wondering from my last racing update, my surgery was complete as well as a success. I am back on the run. While I was spending a few weeks in bed (didnt really stay in bed but I had to tell my doctor that), I sold my beloved race car that got me through 1 very successful year of racing and a points champion, and I was on my way to doing it again in the same car. I got a SWEET deal from a California, MO local where I raced and sold it for $5,000. Which is an unbelievable amount of money for a 4cyl fwd drivision racecar around here. Of course, we were both happy campers. I got out of a class that was for Rookies at a good price, and they got a car that was a weekly winner.

While i was off of racing, not only did I sell a car, I also bought another one. Haha. Just when my mom was glad to see me out of it, the money just didnt look as good as the racing opportunity. I bought up a 79' Chevy Camaro Street Stock w/ a 383 Stroker that was ready to race. Car was a tough price to pay, but racing is never cheap. Now I race in a Payout Division ($300 to win) on down on a normal race night. Of course driving this car has been nothing like what im used to. Over 500HP, Rear-wheel Drive, and Quick Steer account for some of the biggest changes for me. I can honestly say Im having a blast. Only got to race is 3 times before the completion of the season, but each time I raced I got better.

    Week 1, Placed 14th.
    Week 2, Placed 10th.
    Week 3, Placed 5th.

I am quickly learning all the differences in this racecar compared to what im used to. Now I actually get to run Racing Tires and Adjust My Brake Bias while Im racing. I feel like Technology nocked me in my forehead. (ha ha). I hate having to set out all winter now. I was having so much fun. But I should have a lot to do this winter on my new car so that it is customized to my liking.

Here are a few Pictures of the car after I bought I bought it.

Ill try to keep youall updated on whats going on in my racing career. Right now i am working on selling a bunch of my Personal Collection cards on ebay to come up with some funding for next year.

    Hey Mike,
Thanks! As for the same tracks.. Yes and No. I will now be racing at La Raceway only next year. Had it out with the people down at California's track and vowed to never come back. They pretty well told me I could keep track of my own points and that they had no plans on defending me. Basically they didnt mind seeing my car get torn up because they said it gave other drivers a "Chance". lol. I will consider going to some special shows around Missouri though. Lucas Oil owns an amazing track in Wheatland, MO which isnt far from here. Might run down there. And I might also make a show or two down in Eldon, MO. Its really just gonna depend on Money, Success, and availability at this point. But I know for sure I will run for Points at La.
