    Anybody On Twitter?

I enjoyed following Gomaz on Twitter when he attended the pack-out for The Cup, and today I decided to do some searching for other Twitter members who talk about hockey cards but couldn't really find anything interesting. Does anybody here use Twitter to chat about the hobby, or know of anybody who does? I signed up for an account but I don't know if I'll use it or not, if somebody would follow it and I could find others to follow I may try it for a while. I try not to get sucked in to internet crazes but if it was related to the hobby it would make it worth it. I think with enough members following each other we could set up a pretty good news feed

Not on now and never will be. In fact the only time I was ever on there was to follow Jeremy's pack out and to see updates from the NHL draft. Didn't even have to sign up for an account to do any of that thankfully. I think it is just what the root of the word is, for TWITS.

Personally I think you were a little soft on your assessment. I would have added many more insults to this internet joke. I'm of the same opinion of the Facebook, MySpace, etc. concepts as well though.

You know, it's all fine and dandy when you are promoting a company, staying in touch with old friends or something on a Facebook page. I believe Facebook is the most civilized of all the social media sites. MySpace is like a high school wasteland from of what I've seen. Twitter is just........brutal. I mean I could see it's use for pack/box breaks but you can already do that here in the forums so why? Other than that............???????
