Are you going to bid on this item is the question?

I hope you are joking. No way anyone would bid on this item. Both cards together are worth about $1, $499 less than what they are asking for them.

The funniest one I saw was a 1992 Skybox USA card of Jordan highlighting his rookie season. It said "NBA rookie season" running up the side. The guy (0 feedback of course) was selling it as Jordan's "rookie card" and wanted $25,000 for it. This card is worth one dollar. I contacted him and told him it wasn't Jordan's rookie and that Jordan's rookie wasn't worth anywhere near that. He replied back, "well it says rokie card so tell thta to teh card compnay not me."

I feel sorry for the kid or new collector who has fallen for auctions like this. Times like this I wish you could post comments on peoples' Ebay auctions warning people about things like this. I doubt anyone would fall for this particular one or the one I posted but I'm sure it's happened with less expensive cards. I've seen a 92-93 Topps Michael Jordan advertised as his rookie card (I guess because it's his first Topps card) selling for something like $20 even though it's probably only worth $3. I'm sure a less experienced collector might fall for something like that.

Yeah, I have seen the same with Ewing on eBay too. It is a shame, just just hope that they are ignorant to the truth and didn't research as opposed to just being flat out liars and scammers.

I remember that Sam Vincent card. Michael Jordan's 23 jersey came up missing before the game in that card so he had to wear 12.

I've seen some pretty funny auctions but that one made me laugh out loud.

So I see there is another Navy guy on here other than me. I just received a new David Robinson auto card in the mail today. It is a Press Pass card with him in his Navy uniform and with a "Go Navy" inscription on it. I'll post it in a little bit. You should check it out. Judging by your profile you are an Officer so you probably have seen the Navy Uniform in person.

Yeah, you guessed it. I saw your D-Rob card too. I didn't know he had a Navy inscription. I'll have to pick one up.
