The Rangers have released their roster for training camp.
BY: Adam Rotter
The full list, as of now, is after the jump.
Invited to camp is 32 year old defenseman, Kyle McLaren.
Mclaren, 6-4 232 lbs, has played 12 seasons in the NHL, but didn’t play last season. Last season he played 22 games for the Worcester Sharks of the AHL. He was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers at the trade deadline, but the deal didn’t go through when McLaren failed his physical.

Gabby or no Gabby, I don't see the Rags gong anywhere this season. No defense, no scoring, but great goaltending may get them in I suppose.

No defense ? Marc Staal and Roszival are not bad. Redden , if we don't think about his contract , is not playing that bad but not great either i must admit. I would call their defense average , but there is worst in the East.
If Gaborik stays healthy , i think they can make the playoffs but it will be hard , considering you have teams like Washington , Philly , Boston and Pittsburgh who , in my opinion , will all be IN.

people say they wont go anywhere every year and last year the Caps were heavily favored to win and barely squeaked by in the playoffs. They had one of the lowest Goals For numbers in the league but were number 1 in the East for the first half of the season last year.

This will be an interesting team for sure. I see they added another Alaskan. I'll be keeping a close eye on them, Go Rangers!
