I played at a tournament at someones house that had 40 people in it, buy in was $40. Me and another guy split 1st and 2nd place for $545 a piece. Not bad for a home game.

Crazy final table for sure....anybody who doesn't believe luck plays a huge part in poker just needs to watch that. I knew after Cada doubled up to $20-some mil after being down to $2.something mil that it would be him and Moon heads up. Both of them had destiny on their side tonight...just about makes you sick to watch them beat all those better starting hands.
Not a fan of Cada, but I like Darvin a lot, hope he pulls it out.

I missed it what happened to Ivey?

Ivey played bad....he had his chances, but played bad. I just didn't get him folding pocket J's because of a 4 million bet, but calls a 4 million bet later on with A8 offsuit. Didn't really get some of his plays. He didn't play like normal Phil Ivey.
And on Darvin....I've never seen someone make so many ridiculously dumb plays at one table....I guess it's better to be lucky than good.

The one thing about being "dumb," though, is it makes it awful hard to get a read. You play straight, by the book poker and you can be read like a book...you can tell right now Cada has no idea what he has or what to do, both playing J9 proved that.

And playing dumb cost Darvin the tourney, also.

Yup, it did...he was like a semi rolling downhill with no brakes. How do you put the bracelet on the line w/QJ? It worked in his favor for a long time, but in the end, it's what killed him.

No doubt. Darvin was in the drivers seat, then he calls Cada's all in with a straight draw. That terrible play cost him the tourney, and you knew he'd push with a mediocre hand at best after that.

Yeah, they have 5 tables. Nice ones too. They even have a computer system set up that will even up the tables randomy with the exact seat you are supposed to go to.
And about the chips. Honestly I didnt even count. I know we have one 500 chip to start with, some 100 chips, some 50s, some 20s, and some 10s. Didnt pay enough attention. But before we get there they are chip trays all set up with the correct amount on them. Then at 7:00 or so everyone gathers arount the computer to see what table and seat they are at.
This time there were 5 people left and they tried to get me to "split the pot", and I wouldnt. I made some people mad, haha. I only split because when it was me and another guy left it was 11:30 at night and we were about even. Plus, I hate heads-up, it takes so long.
