    Question about SASE

When you self address the inside envelope do you put your address in the return address area too? or just the normal?

I personally don't. No need to put the same address twice.

The post office will stop that sometimes. Its mail fraud. One time i was sending a SASE back to a guy who I got an auto for and it had his addy and return addy on there as the same thing and the post officer left it in my mailbox.

How can it be mail fraud? All you are doing is making sure that the SASE is going to make it back to you. Back in the day before the self stick stamps sometimes the glue would not hold and the stamp fell off. The PO is not going to send it along. I had this happen to me once when I sent a payment with out my return addy. The stamp fell off and it ended up in the dead letter office. I got my check and the envelope back about a month later since my addy was on the check. All of my TTM SASE have my addy on there twice.

I always put my return addy on all SASE's. I have been doing the same as you for the last 3 years without any problems. As a matter of fact, I have been short on the amount of the stamp by 10 or 25 cents (because of weight) and the mailperson knocked on my door to collect/deliver my SASE. Besides, I don't want the USPS to know who sending back my signed goodies...

Oxxon it was actually when I sent your Renfro back. The mailman wouldnt pick it up. I mean if you dont put a stamp on and just put your return address in the top left, you are stealing from the government. If you put a stamp on its fine but I only do one address and I havent had any troubles.

Of course if you don't use a stamp then its fraud. In the end do what you think is best. I'll play it on the safe side and put my addy twice on the SASE.
