Seems like the rookie patches are getting easier to pull, kinda worries me that they might start overproducing these. They're the only true rookie cards that I take serious.

Over producing? I dont think so... the way this set is collected.... its actually better they make more so more people will be encouraged to do the set and the value will hold....
    Look at the past productions

    1250 Bradys... books 1200
    2000 Peytons...books 800
    500 LTs..... books 800
    1200 Romos... books 600
    299 Elis/Big Bens books 500/600
    99 Rodgers books 500
    99 Cutlers books 1200
    399 APs books 700

I think that shows... even with lower production on many of the cards, it never really effected its value... I think the only ones it helped was Rodgers and Cutler, which if they made 299 of each of those... Rodgers would still be a 300 card and Cutler still 500...

i guess but what i mean is that i hope they keep the numbers low. this year 499 ryans. 999 flaccos. hope tats not too many. i really hope they only make 99 sanchez, crabtree, or staffords and not 499. keep the big names rare

I am just saying that its actually better to make 499 and 999 of the good players... More people will chase them and makes the overall pack rip better...
For example... if they made they made 99 Cutlers and its worth 1200...
Meaning they put $118,800 of value in the product on that one card... But if they made 299 cutlers and it would be worth an estimated 500 based on value trends of Cutler vs. other players in the set, UD puts $149,500 worth of value in their product.
If they only make 99 of the creme de la creme... sure they're worth more, but it does not increase their overall desirability from the collecting masses as less people will be chasing the cards because they will be too expensive... Plus it increases collectibility and justifies the pack price of Exquisite...

i dont think they will be making these sp /99 but i do hope they are below 2008 numbers /999 flacco (a first round qb) is ridiculous...but hey what do i know

these cards look nice im not a huge fan of the manufactured patch and i think i would be dissapointed if i got a manufactured patch auto of dan dierdorf instead of a rookie patch auto

I believe /99 isn't enough, and /999 for a potential star is a little too much. /499 Seems like a good compromise.

Dont quite understand the whole point of the 'super patch', I think the numbers are nice on the set run... A nice 3 color Matt Ryan sells for $350+. I dont like the on jersey signatures on the 'SP'... They kinda remind me of Exquisite

Seems to me that "super patch" is the new trendy name for the gold variation??

Super Patch is like Scripted Swatch in Basketball. Not a fan. There will still be golds /25 (I would assume).

And I'm hoping I pick up the last two cards I need for 08 before 09 comes around.
