    Best 90s Basketball Insert Set?

Ah, the decade of the insert. What was the best insert set in your opinion? I will probably go with 93-94 Skybox Showdown Series. It was one of the earlier inserts so the technology wasn't as good, but it was cool that you had the head-to-head stats on the back and the good photography. Also, the Magic vs. Bird card is a classic.

I'll go with 92 Stadium Club Beam Team followed by Skybox Autographics. Both are still collectible and the prices are within reach of most collectors. I know some people like refractors, but I always considered them parallels instead of inserts. A few collectors on here will disagree with me.

yeah, autographics was the hottest thing ever, I remember that Beckett ran all those stories on it, and they had a picture of stackhouse signing it, and it was like wow they really do sign them lol

Yeah, to me Beam Team started it all in basketball. MJ was tearing through the league, and Shaq had an RC insert. They've cooled off a lot, though. The MJ goes for around $25-40 and the Shaq for a little more. Very attainable now. Hey, I think I just figured out what mini-set I'll put together next.

Well..I'm more of an 'Acetate' type of guy. I LOVE Clear acetate cards.
    95-96 Fleer Metal 'Slick Silver'
98-99 EX 'Dunk N Go Nuts'

Then of course..I love ALL Fleer Metal inserts and parallels. Precious Metals are AWESOME!! Foil cards are SWEET!!

Yes, and they had Michael Finley interview.

Definitely autographics along with 97-98 game jersey and jambalaya.
