My First Cards!!!!!!
I ran across a small set of cards, which were the first sports cards I ever owned! I was bussed to a larger town for school, and I saw these other kids with hockey cards, which looked so cool. I asked one of my friends to buy me a pack, as the small town I was from did not sell them anywhere. I gave him a quarter, and he bought me a pack of cards, which I got the next day from him. They are a sorry looking lot now, as they have creases in them, battered corners, and a wax stain on the front of one of the cards. They are a cherished item from my childhood, and I now have them in a plastic pouch in my desk drawer.
The cards are...........
1975/76 OPC NHL
#311-Jim McKenny-Toronto Maple Leafs
#265-Blaine Stoughton-Toronto Maple Leafs
#114-Errol Thompson-Toronto Maple Leafs
#134-Jack Egers-Washington Capitals
#235-Gregg Sheppard-Boston Bruins
#109-Bill Fairbairn-New York Rangers
#273-Larry Giroux-Detroit Red Wings
#359-Pierre Jarry-Detroit Red Wings
#62-Hilliard Graves-Atlanta Flames
#87-Detroit Red Wings team card checklist (unmarked)
#217-Warren Williams-California Golden Seals
I love going down memeory lane sometimes!

Jim McKenny==Cool card great guy a legend in the T.O sports broadcaster biz
also one of my favourite cards.
I remeber riding my bmx to the freindly neighbourhood comic shop in brampton(actual store name) I was excited when UD first did hockey, think I bought 2 boxes with b-day money. I remember my first pack had a gretzky hologram, and I remember trading it with the store for a wendal clark rookie. I also remeber putting all the habs cards in the spokes of my wheels........I'm so old

Doesn't matter how beat up the cards are.
They are worth more to you than any supposed BV. Congrats on finding them!
