Buyer Beware: bmmcards on ebay
Sorry if this is the wrong forum...
I purchased one pack of 08-09 Upper Deck Black Basketball from him. I don't know why I did it, it was a last minute auction ending soon thing..bleh. Anyways, of course the pack had been resealed.
Since I had funny feelings about my purchase, I inspected the pack closely when I received it. It was just one of those too good to be true situations, I won the pack for $77 btw.
From the outside, I couldn't tell by the plastic wrapping if it had been opened or not. But, the sticker seal was obviously tampered with. I was thinking, even if he did reseal the outside packaging, how could he reseal the actual pack itself. I thought he might just want to feel the card and see what type it was and there was a chance I could still pull something good. Without even having too look for it, I see that there is a slit cut open on the top of the pack. Of course, the card was ****.
I proceed to contact the seller, he denies selling me a resealed pack. Blah blah blah... still have yet to get my money back. Communication with the seller did not work out, my paypal case is pending, but seller won't respond. I will be contacting Visa tomorrow so hopefully I can get it back from there. Anyways, BUYER BEWARE. BMMCARDS on ebay is a scammer. He sells a lot of the high end product, exquisite, black, ultimate, etc... watch out!Last edited by lostones; 09-07-2009 at 01:30 AM.

He had some negative feedback, but he had a good rating overall. I read the first little bit of feedback and it wasn't anything alarming. I know some people leave negative feedback for no good reason... like they pulled bad cards, or they expected shipping to Canada to take 2 days or something.
Anyways, after I got scammed, I went through all his feedback and he has done this in the past. I think a lot of people are just so excited about the product that they don't notice it has been resealed. The he gets positive feedback and keeps on moving. Pretty much, I'm never buying off ebay again cause of this guy.

Sorry to hear that. But you should never buy packs or boxes on ebay unless they are from blowout or da. Most people that sell on ebay reseal their packs and boxes and sell all the good stuff they pull on other accounts.

No I don't.. I made a note to do it, but I forgot. I picked up the pack in the states, so I couldn't wait till I got home to see if I got ripped off or not.

I seen a few one packers on ebay and pondered buying a few but was scared out of it thinking something just like this would happen. Thx for pointing these scammers out. One reason I went and joined this forum to conversate with people who actually love the hobby. Thx
