    Paypal as Gift???

What is this I keep seeing about sending paypal as a gift? Is this a better method of paying or something? Maybe I missed something but could someone explain this fad to me please, thanks.

All it is so that the seller could get the full amount of money instead of eating the paypal fee. Only thing is if you send as a gift, you are not covered by paypal if the seller never sends your cards

yeah, its a nice option if you are working a deal with someone you trust and have dealt with before, but Id be cautious using it when you arent positive about the other trader

Ok so if you send as a gift no paypal fees are deducted? Sounds like a good thing. What do you mean you are not covered though does paypal have it's own insurance included?

meaning you cant open a claim. Sending as a gift, there is no buyer protection. Card never comes or card comes destroyed, there is nothing you can do.

Personally i rather pay a couple extra bucks and be safe. Just my opinion

Also if you print your shipping labels from home off of the paypal website then gift payments are no good. When you get a gift payment you can't print a shipping label.

You can still use PP shipping for anything, it's just difficult to find on the page.

Let me know if you do. It seems like sending payment as a gift is a better way to do it especially if you are the seller.

it's only better if dealing with someone you can trust, otherwise the parties involved are not supported if a problem occurs.
