    What exactly are the patch cutout shapes supposed to be? I see the "4" and two others look like "O" or zeros, but what is the upper left cutout supposed to be? I'm thinking maybe it's a funny looking "A" and the shapes are (top left to bottom right) "AO" "04". "Alexander Overchkin" "2004"?

    That is exactly what it is. They did the players initials and draft year for the quad patch parallel version of these cards.
