    08-09 NBA Rookie Class

Guys sorry if someone had already posted this question. How do you guys think last years RC class is going to rank when we look back on it? I know everyone thinks jordan's class was the best of all time. Kobe's year 96-97 wasn't bad either. James year 03-04 is up there on the list. 98-99 Carter's year should be on there as well. Last year had Rose, Mayo, and Beasley. I would rank them the top 3 Rc's as of right now. But E.Gordan B. Lopez R. Westbrook and even DJ Augustin and K. Love are really talented players and could be all stars within a few years. Don't forget A. Randloph this guy could be huge one day. So what do you guys think? Is 08-09 Class worth investing in? Or is 2000-01 all over again.

alot of talent, if it is molded right they could be dominate, I need to look, but the draft class with CP3 and Deron will be hard to top later on just b/c those two could be in the top 5 of PG's together..bynum and granger could make that a really strong class

Tough to say. I always wait until after their sophomore season to have a good idea of their fundamental game. The top picks every year are all talented or they would not have drafted so high. Now that opposing coaches have had all off-season to review game film, identify weaknesses, and make defensive adjustments, the last rookie class will have to show what they're made of.

it won't be as bad as 00-01, but i think it will be comparable to the 06-07 draft year

08 09 was a very good year. If any1 actually watches the games you would know that these rookies are for real BUT some of them like DJ Augustin and Anthony Randolph didnt get to play quite as much as they deserved. Its hard to say exactly where it will compare right now but once all these guys develop, which they will, it will be considered as one of the better classes. IMO
