Noob to Football, need help

Hello there,

I am a primarily a Hockey Card guy, but I want to dive in to football. I'm thinking of picking up a few cards of these 3 players:
Sidney Rice
Brandon Meriweather
Deangelo Williams

Now my question is, are these expensive players, do they play in a hobby backwater (For example, the LA Kings are a hobby backwater in Hockey, so they are not as highly valued) ,or do they value them based on the position they play or the college they went to.

Sidney and Brandon not expensive. Deangelo can be, but many deals can be found on him.

All three of those players are affordable to collect. As for the other two questions, I have no idea what you are talking about

no, those goes are in minnesota, new england, and carolina respectively. minnesota/new england are to of the bigger fan bases so those are the opposite of backwaters. Carolina isn't that big but deangelo plays a popular position and is young so those are good picks to collect, good luck and welcome!
