2001 SP Authentic Michael Vick
After reading the new beckett, it seems as if this card may reach its old value if he has even a decent year. My question is do you guys agree? I have been thinking about getting this card for years and it seems to be affordable. While I am no fan of him as a person, his ON FIELD talent may be too much to overlook. This card seems to be the most significant football card of the decade and it may not be a bad idea to get one.

Its one of the most significant cards of the last 10 years, if you want one, then go ahead and get one.

If you want one and it is affordable then how does it's potential to return to value relate? Unless you are just wanting one to flip it for profit.

It will always be a card that will maintain a certain amount of allure.... I highly doubt it reaching the 1600 value it once held for so long though...

You've waited this long. I would hold off a little longer.

They are affordable, but be cautious when buying.. At least 13 copies of his rookie have fake patches in them, probably more.. Buy a patch that does not rate as un-believeable!!

It may reach it's old book value - if Beckett pulls the right number out of the hat - but I can't even fathom people paying the prices they once did.

Ok so he booked $1600. Kinda off topic, but as an SPA collector and just having started my collection in the past year, what were the Reggies, Bens, Carsons, LTs, at their prime value?
Also David Carr, Alex Smith..some of the ones who obviously tanked
