Timberwolves/Hornets trade
Heard on my local news that the Timberwolves and Hornets completed a trade yesterday, sending veteran guard Bobby Brown and veteran forward Darius Songaila to the Hornets in exchange for veteran guard Antonio Daniels.

seems like a sweet trade for the hornets
daniels just really didnt fit well with them, maybe brown can do better with the second team
& they could certainly use some "toughness & experience" (espns words, as ive never heard of songalia) in the forward position off the bench
its gonna be an exciting season i think, i cant wait for it to start

I liked Bobby Brown, but it seems to be a good move for both teams.

Antonio Daniels is awesome! He was a great player as a Sonic and Wizard! The T'Wolves got a great veteran!

The Timberwolves did this trade to clear up cap space for next summer. Songaila has two years left on his contract at over 4 million/year. Daniels only has one year left at 6.6 million. I'm pretty sure Bobby Brown's contract was used to balance the salaries.
