Read somewhere that for the memorial site in NYC there is a group associated with it that wants all the footage ever shot on that 9-11 for their archives and to allow visitors to view it via the virtual style of google earth.
The site is slated to be open on the 10th ann. of Sept 11th.
It was just hit the web a cpl days ago but I can not find the story, any help?
UPDATE:
*I located the site*

God Bless America! This is one thing that would be basically impossible to ever forget. I can't believe it's been 8 years since it happened.

I hadn't even been away from home one month for my first year of college when it happened. I remember getting up and walking down the hall to shower and seeing everyone on the dorm floor crammed into the lounge, eyes glued to the TV. I stuck my head in the door just in time to watch plane #2 hit.

I'd always heard everyone talking about knowing exactly where they were and what they were doing when JFK was shot and thinking that was crazy to remember so vividly 20 and 30 years later...but 9/11 was just that for our generation.

I remember I was coming from an appointment with my wife. I was opening the door to my house when my fhater in law called and told us. When I turned on the TV, that was when the second plane hit the other tower.
That was crazy.
