    07-08 The Cup Auto Rc Patch/249 Queston--help!

As the title states -last year i busted one tin of 07-08 the cup hockey, and pulled a 2 colour Peter Mueller/249, mostly dark maroon, but in the bottom corner has a black stitch with a little bit of black jersey. the problem is that when i inspected the patch closely i noticed that the majority of the stitch was coming undone. The card is mint, but with the stitch coming out looks ragged and tampered with. Has anyone seen this, so is it still considered mint, tradeable/ the card has a BV of 150. Wanna trade it for something i can use, but dont wanna rip someone off, if thats the case. Any opinions or suggestions are welcomed thanks. Sorry no photo at this time, working on that..thanks Jason

if its just the jersey itself and not the card, than the card is still mint, might just want to let people know the patch is a little fugly

I doubt anyone is going to accuse you of tampering with a patch, if it's basically a one colour patch, with a small stitch. As long as all of the cardboard is mint, your card would probably be considered mint.

That sort of thing happens quite regularly. I've got a couple jersey cards with loose threads in them.

Personally I think that makes the piece somewhat unique. I have a few like this as well and buy cards with tattered patches without much of a second look as long as the cardboard is sound.

Yes the card itself is mint out of the tin.....but its just the stitch where the 2 colours meet is actually come undone; the patch itself is still intact and very tight in its square. The black thread just looks like the end of an old pair of jeans:) Thanks for your input guys.......
