Texas governor sends Rangers to Mexico border
We spend trillions building frog bridges and supporting ACORN, but we can't pay for 1,000 troops to secure our border. Does anyone ever expect Obama to seal the border and cut off millions of his voters for 2012?
The governor early this year asked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano for 1,000 National Guard troops and renewed his call last month in a letter to President Barack Obama. The request is bogged down over who will pay for the troops and how they will be deployed.

I would have thought somebody who claims to be a patriot as much as you do would know that illegal immigrants can't vote in the US. So which is it, are you just woefully ignorant of how your own country works, or do you think the truth is irrelevant if you can do a conservative scaremongering?

or the fact that multiple times in this countries history (by both republican and democrat) there have been sweeping legalization of illegals, thus allowing millions the right to vote in which the overwhelming majority vote democratic. Or, through groups like ACORN, they can vote even if they are illegal.

You obviously need to do some reading on this subject. You may want to get informed before you make such statements!
Here is just a tiny sample. Facts suck, huh?In 1996, Congress enacted the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, making it a federal crime for non-citizens to vote in any federal election (or state election, unless authorized by state law). As a penalty, ineligible non-citizens who knowingly vote may be deported. Additionally, a non-citizen who falsely claims to be a United States citizen is in violation of this law.
However, there are many documented reports of non-citizen voting,[1] [2] and there is no evidence of prosecution of the aliens for their action. With nearly 19 million foreign-born residents who are not U.S. citizens in the country in the 2000 Census and an estimated 9-11 million illegal residents (many of them not also counted in the Census), the potential is enormous for non-citizens to affect the outcome of elections.
Charges were made in at least three federal elections in California [3] [4] and twice in Florida[5] that voting by ineligible aliens may have determined the outcome of the election. For instance:
- In Florida, election observers say a “sizable number” of Florida votes in the 2000 election may have been cast by ineligible felons, illegal immigrants, and non-citizens. [6]
- In California, former Republican Rep. Robert K. Dornan was defeated by Democrat Loretta Sanchez by 984 votes in the 1996 election. State officials found that at least 300 votes were cast illegally by non-citizens.[7]

There is also the fact that there are millions of mexicans and legals who can vote. The media and the left will paint anyone who wants to secure the border as racists and cost them the latino vote. There is legal and illegal, right and wrong. Unfortunately, these things mean nothing to the current administration. Its all about the votes and the popularity.

And since when has it been any different? It always has been, is, and always will be about that.

This has been like this forever...when the moment to get votes come, they don;t carer if they are illegal or not. They just want the votes.
