I am not one who usually uses terms like always, ever, best, etc. I try not to be over the top in describing much in life.

However, I need to make an exception.

As some of you are aware, I got married back in March to a woman I met the 1st day of Culinary School. Janet has followed NASCAR for several years. When I told her that I collected NASCAR cards, little did she know what she was getting herself into.

I started pulling cards from my traders of her 2 favorite drivers - Dale Jr and Kasey Kahne and also some Dale Sr. Got her a notebook started. When we would buy packs at Wally World, Target or the LCS, any Dales and Kaseys went to her.

I started even trading for some Dales and Kaseys to help even up trades for stuff I wanted for my PC.

I recently made a trade with Mike (aka Skippy). I won't get into specifics as to exactly what Mike did, but here is the short version.

I got a text at work from Janet that said...we got a package addressed to both of us today, what did you buy? I asked her the return address and recognized it as Mike's.

When she got home from work, she opened the package and we were both amazed at Mike's generosity above and beyond what we had agreed to trade for. It was like watching a kid in a candy store with a $100 bill to spend.

Simply put, it was the best trading experience I have ever had in my 32 years of collecting. Thank you Mike from both of us. Mike be watching the mail, Janet will be sending you something in the near future.

Look for Janet to probably join SCF in the near future and be an active member of the NASAR collecting community. While I created the monster....Mike has fed the monster.
