    Knicks sign two players

    The New York Knicks signed two players today - unfortunately, neither of them were named David Lee or Nate Robinson. They signed former Celtics guard Gabe Pruitt and also signed forward Warren Carter, who played in Europe last season. Both of their contracts are not guaranteed, and neither player is guaranteed to make the final roster. Lee and Robinson remain unsigned with only about 6 1/2 weeks before the 2009-10 season begins.

    That should save them about 15-20 million a year... just more money for them save for Amare and Lebron
