To Grade or Not to Grade?
I have a few questions for everyone. I have a few Vintage cards that I keep looking at that I am seriously thinking about getting graded but I just don't know about the whole thing. The cards I want to get graded are
1. Willie Mays 1957 Topps #10 I feel this one could be pretty close to an 8 on the grading scale everything is great except for the centering. Maybe 70/30.
2. Mickey Mantle/ Hank Aaron 1958 Topps World Series Batting Foes #418 ANother good looking card probably better centering than the Mays but the finish on front has a few flaws. I would figure this maybe a 6.
3. Mickey Mantle 1956 Topps This card does look good but corners are worn (rounded) centering probably 70/30.
The questions I have are
1. Do you really think grading helps?
2. Do YOU look for graded cards? Even though I might not sell them.
3. If I did get great gradings on these would YOU sell them?
Thanks for all and any input.

I'd say get all 3 of them graded! They are some sweet cards:D
1.) Grading does help. The number one reason to grade is because the case forever preserves the card so it does'nt get damaged. And, if you ever sell, it ups the value a bit.
2.) I personally don't always look for garded cards....but if I found one of a player I collect, if its vintage, and in my price range, then I'd be interested.
3.) Its your choice if you want to sell....if thats the main reason your getting them graded, then go ahead...If not, then keep them.
