    Anyone buy from local01?

I bought a Steve Mason 07-08 ITG Superlative JSY Auto /50 from this seller on the 28th i believe and paid for it on the 29th. since he's from pennsylvania and i'm from ny, i figured it wouldn't take too long to ship. waited a little over a week and still nothing....waited until the 11th, even though that's not too long i decided to contact them anyways...no answer. i left it for a few days hoping they would answer, but i was impatient and left another comment today, here's what they said:

    Dear jmlalala,

sorry, about that!. forgot that you payed me. it got out in the mail today. AGAIN SORRY ABOUT THE THE MIX UP.

wow, one day after i bought it i paid for it and they forgot that i paid them? it's been 16 days and now they decide to ship it out! if it was a pc card, i wouldn't be as mad since it's not going anywhere but i already dealt the mason a week ago hoping that i would have it soon. am i over reacting? i mean ik i've heard of some worse shipping times but i think this is pretty bad....

personally I think the only mistake here is you should NOT deal a card you dont have. Whether it be through trade or ebay personally I believe if you have a card incoming tell somebody its incoming, maybe talk about a deal but dont make it official as if you have the card because you never know it could get lost in the mail or something even if it was sent out to you. I know thats not what happened in this case but im just pointing this out to you. Plus like you say now you have somebody waiting on you but its not up to you when the card comes so its not fare to them either.

As far as that seller goes if they dont express mail it or give you something extra Id at best give them a neutral feedback and say "forgot they were paid for 16 days before they finally sent" or something along those lines because that is bad service

I had this happen recently witha seller only they refunded me and still sent the cards out

well by confirm i meant that we said we would do it, nobody sent anything out yet and the official trade wasn't posted. usually i'll let them know the trade/buy info, like when i bought it and where it's from, etc... so they have an idea of when i'll pm them back. and he actually hasn't asked me about it yet but i've had a few others ask about incoming cards...
