I wasn't specifically asking for the Bowmans; just listing ones I had interest in. Also was not asking for ALL of the ones I had listed either. I am still interested in the Topps and Upper Deck ones. Was asking you what you would be willing to offer from those for the lot I had for you. PLMK if we can still work something out. Thank you.

No,we can always work towards a deal on anything.
It's not over until I have cards or the other guy gets mad and leaves...at least at shows :) I do deal so much better in person haha
Ok,Per a PM, I am not trying to be difficult, just looking for my best option, nothing more. A batch of 2009 RCs has more appeal than a batch of 5 year old rookies, that's just how I see it.
Also to answer another question,openly:
1992 Topps #98 (9)- $6.00 EA/ 4 for $22.00
1993 Bowman #511 (2)-$17.50 ea
1993 Upper Deck #449 (2)- $7.00 ea
1992 Classic Draft Picks #6(10)-$2.75 EA
1992 Classic Draft Picks #BC6(10)-$5.00 EA
1992 Upper Deck Minor League #5(2)-$5.00 ea
1993 Upper Deck Minor League #185 (2) $7.00 ea
1994 Signature Rookies #35 (3)-$2.00 ea
I hope this helps.
I cover shipping on my end and I expect sellers/traders to do the same ;)Last edited by CompleteGibberish; 09-15-2009 at 03:48 PM.

OK, now really not sure where things stand. First off, the Topps Jeter #98 is from 1993 and NOT 1992. Second, I'm not sure what your value breakdown above is for. The cards I have for you have a combined book value of $57. I am willing to give you some extra in trades towards the 1993 Topps & Upper Deck Jeters. I was asking you what you were willing to offer from those 2 for the ones I had for you. PLMK and we can go from there.

It was a typo in haste,my apologies. Look at the time I made the post, not bad considering,to just have the 1
The value break down, as stated,is in relations to a PM.
I also mentioned newer cards have more value to me than older, with this trade.
Again, not trying to be difficult,as mentioned, but looking for a more honed offer.
An example,as best as I can put one off hand:
Ichiro Suzuki
2001 Topps #726
Rookie Card -12.00
Now while not in my target range of 2006-2009, I consider that a square trade.(Yes if someone had 9 Ichiro's I would trade )
BUT if someone offered the following

T.Hafner/B.Jacobsen
2001 Topps Gold #371
Rookie Card-4.00x3=12.00
I would say no. There is price for price and then there is value for value. This is what I am trying to convey
There is a 3rd option :)
2009 Bowman Chrome
Common/Semi-Common Rookie Prospects in bulk
.32 cents per card /100 card lots.
The above was quoted at a show to me. Now, while I think .25 per is more inline, I would trade a Topps Jeter for 50 common prospects. I see that as a fair value and a cozy, warm, long shot gamble that I like so much.
me and Mark are still arguing over the commons prices, hopefully he will get down to that .25 mark and sell me a few hundred, but he squeaks when he walks,so I wont hold my breath :)
Anyway, I hope I further clarified my system of values for you imok
I am sorry if I have caused any distress or confusion over my cards as it is truly not my intent. But, like everyone on this board, I will get what I want or what I am comfortable with or just pass. no one here caves in and says " Ok,I will take less than what I wanted" unless they are not being fair to begin with and know it or are not seeing anything but the card they want and will cave to get it .....or are just sheep and figure the short game is the only game to play. That's just how I see it.
