Fantasy Hockey Rookies: Good Value or Just Good Hype?

Of the seven NHL rookies who scored at least 20 goals last year, only one was under the age of 20 when the season began.
That was Tampa’s Steven Stamkos, who crawled from an avalanche of preseason hype to finish with a respectable 23 goals and 23 assists.
Expand your list to the 13 rookies who scored at least 30 points, and you will find two guys under 20: Stamkos and Jakub Voracek of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
