Just a little about e-bay
Hello to everyone.
I think about this thing a lot, now I'd like to your opinions. Is it just me, or that is a new thing or e-bay, or at invidual traders/sellers if they offer tracking number sale, and you don't get it, just simple, the card never arrives?
I have a minimum BV, and I use tracking number only above $50 Book value. I live in Hungary, and I got EVERY mail (except one, but the guy was a scammer), until the last few weeks, now 3 of my e-bay buyings and trades never arrived. Yeah, you can say, but now a Max Talbot SPA FW auto don't arrive? And a Tony Esposito CUP /10 patch yes? So I don't thnk, the mailers do this.
Did you meet with this, or I just become unlucky? Why this happens? I know, there is an economical problem, but I've already started to hate the hobby again, that some people always says, they don't trust people, when they use international shipping, now I started to loose my trust a bit.

George,
I have sold many items over seas, internationally, locally.
I have not lost anything yet, nor have I had anyone say that they have not received the item.
Perhaps I have been lucky, who knows?
We rely on the mail system to complete our transaction for us.
I have had packages that were delivered to 3 different neighbors of mine.
Thankfully my neighbors read the envelopes/packages & notice that they do belong too me.
If I lived in an apartment complex, maybe I would have been out those packages too me?
Good luck with everyones mailings.

Hi!
Same here, I've never lost anything, came in, went out, but it's very annoying, that nowadays it becomes a trend.
My mailman never leaves the mailer in my box, if i'm not home. He usually keep at himself, and when he met, he gives to me. So that's ehy I don't understand.
I've heard the mailers become slower, but like this? Not a long ago, I get everything from 5 days until 14, from US and Canada. Now? nothing. But the funny thing is, that I got every higher end, only less things never showed up, so that's why I think, I've started with wrong sellers.

For example, our first trade, that Carey Price, it came a month later. I know it happens, and there are sometimes faults from the mailers, but I always become sad and I always say it's enough leave the hobby.

on a side note, of the last 5 transactions that I won on ebay,
the sellers did not ship the package right away.
(I ship mine, the next business day after payment is received/cleared)
Of the 5 different sellers,
1 shipped the next day,
1 of them shipped 3 days after payment,
1 shipped 8 days after payment,
1 shipped 13 days after payment,
and the worst one, shipped 20 days after payment was made!!
so, sometimes, its not the mail service, but the sellers that wait,
FOREVER to go to the post office!
yeah, I was upset, I sent emails, some I even got no replies!
But, in the end, I still got them. Not as quickly as I would have liked,
but I still got them.
