It didn't take long for former Cleveland Cavalier guard-forward Sasha Pavlovic to find another NBA home.
Pavlovic, 6-6, has agreed in principle to a one-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, reports Yahoo! Sports.
Pavlovic completed a buyout of his contract with the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. Writes Adrian Wojnarowski for Yahoo! Sports:Pavlovic, 25, was traded to the Suns with Ben Wallace in the Shaquille O'Neal trade in June. He played five seasons with the Cavaliers before the deal. With proceeds from the Suns buyout, Pavlovic will make $2.75 million this season. Pavlovic's role with the Cavaliers diminished last season. The Timberwolves' new coach, Kurt Rambis, was a big proponent of signing Pavlovic, a source said. The New York Knicks also expressed interest in signing Pavlovic.Ben Wallace and Phoenix also agreed to a buyout of his contract. Wallace has signed with the Detroit Pistons.

I'll tell you guys this much, he is a heck of a player when he starts. He started for us in 06-07, and he was our second best player, he played great defense and was a fairly good three point shooter. He started some last season too when Delonte was hurt, and he stepped up big time.
But, if he comes off the bench, he just doesn't do well when you put him in, I don't know what it is. Last year when he came off the bench for us, he couldn't make a shot to save his life, and his defense was terrible. I'm guessing he is just one of those players that has to start so he can find his rhythm early. If the Wolves start him, then they did good picking him up, if not, he is just an average bench player.

This really helps us though because we got the deadly 1 , 2 punch of Sasha and Brian Cardinal
