OTTAWA -- Even though pre-season records don't mean that much, the Ottawa Senators were clearly frustrated after dropping their second straight to Florida.

With 17.3 seconds remaining in regulation it appeared Jason Spezza tied the game, but the goal was called back and the Panthers went on to beat the Senators 2-1 Wednesday. The Senators were beaten 3-1 by the Panthers on Tuesday in both team's pre-season opener.

"It's not the end of the world to lose a pre-season game," said Spezza, "but now we're 0-2."
