2008 Bowman Blaster Box
So I was at Wal-Mart, it was on sale, figured I would pick up a box. While I am not thrilled with the design of the Bowman line of cards, I was pretty thrilled with my first true hit out of a blaster box. Signs of the Future, St Louis Cardinals outfielder Colby Rasmus Auto Woot ;0)

My Wal-Mart had these on sale too, I picked one up last Thursday right before the Titans-Steelers game with the hopes of hitting an auto on the cheap, but nothing lol...nice hit!

Well I cracked 4x 08 Stadium Club before this one with only a Blue Photo proof and a rookie nobody /999 as "hits" to speak of, so blaster retail boxes are more miss than hit ha

Definitely, I think I have only once ever gotten a hit out of a "ungauranteed hit" blaster, and it was a Rafeer Alston gu out of 06-07 UD Reserve lol, so I don't think you can even call that a hit haha
Meanwhile, I bought ONE pack of 07-08 Stadium Club basketball at my hobby shop a couple months ago and got a 1/1 Randy Foye, so who knows lol I don't like retail, but I'm always on the look out for anything on sale at Wal-Mart etc. 40%-50% off is always key.

Yeah I wont ever buy retail unless it is on sale, unless I am trying to build a base set haha.
On a side note, I would be pretty excited about a GU of Alston. I havent been a basketball fan for years, but its hard to not root for the guy. To my knowledge he is the only guy to make the jump from The And-1 tour to the pros. Catch him doing something street in game every once in a while
