By the way, where did you get the book value? Honest question. I've heard pre-war collectors say SCD Big Book is the guide to use, not Beckett. I have the June beckett and it says $1200 high column in ex-mint. Has it gone up that much since June?

Young has 3 cards from that set, portrait, glove and bare hand. The portrait and glove versions book anywhere from 1200-1900 depending on the book you use. The bare hand, again depending on the book, books anywhere from 2600-3800.

Quality or quantity really don't matter, I picked up a better Cy card to replace this one and was just throwing it out there for offers.

Thanks for the reply, I recently started paying attention to pre-war stuff and have a lot to learn. So here again I am trying to learn.

Again my "couple of month old" Beckett lists Cy Young Bare Hand at 1200 high column and that is ex-mt. I'd really like to know which book prewar collectors consider their "bible" So which book are you using for the 2600-3800 ?

Regarding the trade, I'm interested in seeing if I have anything you'd want, but can you narrow it down what you may be looking for? I sincerely don't want to offend anyone so I don't want to offer a boxful of 1970's football if that isn't even in the ball park!
